Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte sends a goodbye message to Diego Costa after reaching agreement with his former club Atletico Madrid.
He expressed gratitude toward him for his commitment to the club’s history in his three-years spell. Costa scored 52 Premier League goals for the Blues, helping them secure two titles in three years.
He was however advised by Conte to search for another club this summer by means of instant message.
A charge has now been concurred for the Spain striker to come back to Atletico Madrid in January.
Talking ahead of Saturday’s game with Stoke City, Conte stated: “I remember that we won together.
“I repeat – for sure we want to thank him for his effort last season, not only last season but in the period he played for Chelsea.”
